Are we a successful breeder? We feel being a successful breeder is defined by using the best breeding stock possible, breeding to improve the breed, with the best possible temperament, breed standard & health=the breeds as a whole. Studying pedigrees, offspring, health testing on both of our breeds is a continuous education. We are NCA & GPCA members.
Success is not defined by show wins or in the amount of Champions one has bred, but the overall 'package' of health, breed standard and the correct temperaments.The placements, titles & accomplishments are just the benefits of exceptional dogs.

One of our many concerns with our breeds is health of our breeds and public breed education. Without the proper owner knowledge both breeds end up in rescue or in the hands of owners who 'don't know what they got themselves into', get lost in grooming, care, uneducated or poor breeding ethics. A reputable, quality breeder will always offer lifetime support and be there for anything or any questions.
You can contact us 7 days a week by email or phone. Please leave us a message and we will repsond to you as soon as possible. We also welcome visitors!

CHOOSING A BREEDER
Do your research and make sure you are aquiring a dog from a reputable breeder. Quality comes from the knowledge the breeder has of their breeds standard, qualities, health issues, health clearances, and correct tempraments {especially both breeds}
A Newfoundland is a WET Mouthed breed. It is neccesary for the breed to have a 'wet' mouth due to what the breed was bred for...Water Work.
Other breed registries {Continental Kennel Club, NKC} are where many Back Yard Breeders (BYB's), Puppy Mills and Pet Stores get their dogs from.
Your breeder should be someone you can communicate and trust will all areas of your dog. Are they willing to be available for the life of your dog? Will they return your calls in a timely manner? These are very important questions to ask yourself when choosing your breeder.
